Ok big update! I feel like we have had a lot going on lately
I haven’t done any blogging in a while, so here is one big recap of our summer
thus far. We movedL It was really bitter
sweet to be leaving the city. It is nice to now have more space, cheaper rent,
a car and be back to normal living, but we had a lot of fun in the city also
and it was hard to say goodbye. We didn’t go too far though just over the
bridge to Staten Island. With the baby
on the way we needed to find a little more room for about half the price, and
we were lucky enough to do so! Staten Island has been nice so far, my favorite
part is the beach just 5 mins away!
Kirk’s Birthday!!! To
celebrate we went out to this restaurant called Back Forty, actually known for
it’s burgers, but during the summers once a week they have a crab boil. You sit at a long community table that is
covered in newspaper and they come around with buckets of crab that they just
dump right in front of you and leave you to the cracking! It was a lot of fun
and workJ but we had a great time!
Last week Kirk’s parents came into town, we had a lot of fun
and it was great having some visitors. This visit we decided to head up the state and see some new sites. The drive was beautiful! Our first stop was in Cooperstown at the baseball hall of fame. Kirk and his dad were in heaven!
Next stop was in Palmyra, we spent most of our day there
seeing the church sites. It was such a great experience and just amazing to see
and stand in the same places the prophets have stood.
Hill Cumorah
This is outside the Martin Harris home, I just love all the greenery here.
Palmyra temple, the grounds were so beautiful.
36 weeks! I can't believe how big I am! I think I look larger in pictures:) Haha
The Smith families first home, they had 11 of them living in there!
The smith families second home, just down the gravel path.
Sacred Grove
Our next stop was Niagara Falls.
A day in the city! And a Yankee game in the evening to end the trip! We had such a great time and it was wonderful to see some family!

The pictures are beautiful and so are you love you sweetie!! ;)
So much fun! These pictures make me miss the east coast so much! Especially since it is so crazy hot here!
Haha - those last pictures of you in the fountain crack me up. I'm sure you actually just wanted to lay down in the water, right? At least that's how I feel some days and i'm not even as far along as you! You are SO pretty pregnant (despite what you might be feeling about right now). Can't wait to see pics of your baby girl!
