I have been procrastinating this blog post because I feel like I have so much catching up to do!  So much has happened and trying to update it all seems overwhelming so I have decided to try and just do a quick look at the last three months and rededicate my self to more frequent blog post.  We have had a very long winter here with LOTS of snow. The year round sun of El Paso at this point is actually sounding quite appealing! For those of you that don’t know…we are moving to the lovely city of El Paso! Kirk and I were very surprised, to say it nicely.  We are getting used to the idea now and have managed to let go of our dreams of living abroad, to living in the desert! J
Kirk is almost done!!!! We only have 4 weeks left!!!!! It is so crazy and so exciting!  I am proud of him and all of his hard work and sacrifices over this long road. It has been crazy looking back over the last 7 yrs and see how far we have come.  We are excited for the next adventure of the Army and working world but will miss NY and all the memories and experiences we have had here. NY will always hold a very special place in my heart. I wouldn’t trade our time and experiences here for anything, I will miss it dearly!   Now for a few pictures.

Adley loved the snow and we would go out every chance we could but always in short spurts because it was FREEZING!!!

For Valentines day I made a crepe cake. I tried to do a copy cat recipe from Lady M bakery in NYC which is sooooo good! Mine definitely did not taste as good. Adley was my little helper.

Final product

V-day dinner, Kirk made us some wonderful bacon wrapped ribs, yummy! I am so lucky I married a man that can cook!

18 month photo shoot!

30 Weeks

NY school bus. Made me laugh.

She loves her daddy, I don't know how we will manage 6 weeks apart. Poor little baby was sick and just curled right up with daddy and feel asleep.

Crazy hair! Finally getting a little longer.

Adley loved Easter! She was a great little egg hunter and had such a fun time.  She is really into Princesses right now, especialy Cinderella so we got her a little Cinderella barbie for her basket. I loved watching her face light up when she saw it, she also got to have her first candy.

Not so sure about the Easter bunny.

Adley loves ridding the bus into the city, most of the ride in she spends looking out the window yelling, bus, truck, boat! You don't realize how many busses and trucks there are until you have a toddler yelling out at each one that she can see. The second picture is the ride home after a fun day in the city. We went to the zoo with some of our best friends here, I don't know what we will do when we have to leave each other Adley asks everyday to see these little cuties!
